We secure your booking with a deposit, then confirm the square footage at the time of the inspection. Final payment is due with the report delivery within 24 hours of your inspection.
The time depends on the size and complexity of the home. Smaller properties may take a few hours, while larger homes require more time to cover properly. Together, these observations show how the home is performing at the time of inspection and how it protects occupants from the elements.
Heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment are inspected. Each unit is operated with standard controls to observe function, while visible ducting, piping, and registers are checked for condition and performance at the time of inspection. Operation of certain equipment is dependent on seasonal conditions and may not be tested outside of safe temperature ranges.
From the roof rafters and trusses down to the foundation, every accessible structural member is carefully inspected. This includes framing, beams, joists, posts, and visible connections — ensuring your home’s skeleton is sound, safe, and built to last.
